Cal Aggie Marching Band-uh!

"Far and wide many have tried, none have done it better." This credo has been the cornerstone of the Aggie Band since its inception in 1929. The Cal Aggie Marching Band-uh! is recognized as the most spirited organization on the UC Davis campus, with members donating their time to both campus and community events. As one of the few remaining completely student run college bands in the nation, the band continues to preserve its reputation as an energetic and musically talented group as it performs numerous venues.

The Band-uh! has two distinct faces. In full dress, they are sharp and precise, and look ever so BOLD, BLUE, and BITCHIN' in the blue and gold uniforms. Full dress is worn for most football games and other important events. The informal Mav'rik uniform is worn to all other events. This uniform consists of blue jeans, the blue "Hell Yes" T-shirts with white shirts over them, and wild, black hats adorned with the member's choice of buttons and other objects.

The Aggie Band has always been the envy of countless college bands for its exceptional spirit and ability to entertain. The Band supports Aggie Athletics by following the football and basketball teams throughout the nation, participates in many local parades, performs at numerous community events, and has been featured for its appearances at such prestigious events as the Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco. Putting it mildly, the California Aggie Marching Band keeps itself busy showcasing its energy and musical ability whenever possible.
